THE WORDSMITH - ã 1996

I love to read

I’d love to write

To compose with words

And not be trite

To make the letters ebb and flow

As story lines they come and go

As passages of finite text

Make my readers wonder what comes next

To write a story

Short or long

Or just write poems

That fill the heart with song

What ever I write I intend to enjoy

The pleasure I get when words I employ

To gladden the hearts of all who come near

This written work I hold so dear
